Bluezona is an Italian NGO powered by a young, passionate team committed to democratizing technological innovation in Southern Italy.

We contribute to Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, Interreg, LIFE, and other EU programmes with the goal of creating long-term value for people, communities, and local ecosystems.

Our modular assessment framework blends quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate effects on: employment & procurement, scientific output & publications, technology transfer, training & capacity building, community engagement, socio-environmental benefits, future innovation pathways, clear and actionable insights for smarter strategic decisions.

Project Ethics & Compliance Assurance

Ethics and compliance in EU projects don’t need to be scary. Piloting & End-User Engagement

Our team has led user-testing, co-creation workshops, and technology validation activities in multiple EU research projects—including XR pilots, environmental monitoring, and agri-tech testing. We design activities that: bring citizens and end-users inside research processes, test emerging technologies hands-on, generate real feedback loops, boost local ownership and social impact.

Farmtron XR
Next-Gen Agricultural Robotics Training

As leaders of the XR development work package, we are designing immersive training scenarios for robotic maintenance, diagnostics and safety within precision agriculture.

Our work includes:

high-fidelity XR simulations
AI-assisted scenario building
End-user testing in Italy & Serbia
Workplace safety and maintenance of agricultural robots in VR

This project pushes forward the boundaries of XR training for the future agri-tech workforce.

VR4Bees

VR4Bees harnesses immersive technologies to raise awareness about the vital role of bees in sustaining biodiversity.

By offering virtual reality experiences, the project engages students and local communities in exploring environmental challenges through innovation and storytelling.

As Environmental Knowledge Partner, Bluezona ensures the scientific accuracy and educational relevance of the project’s content.
